Well, the semester is coming to an end, and it has been a busy one, hence my lack of posting anything for quite a while. Of course, it doesn't help that my camera is having issues connecting to my computer, and pretty much all of my recent work needs to be photographed. As I mentioned in one of my recent posts, I am considering making myself a self-taught sketchbook drawing class for next semester, just to keep my mind flowing and to keep myself from getting rusty with pencil and paper. So I am looking for ideas for projects. Little one day projects, week long projects, a final big project, everything and anything. I figure there will be several days of observational free sketching on location as it is snowboarding season and I plan to bring a small sketchbook with me to the mountain on occasion. A sign of my inactivity: The fact that this is my FIRST journal post since the beginning of the semester. And I think I speak for nearly everyone in my classes when I say it's freak-out mode time. We were all fairly relaxed, going at what we thought was a nice pace thinking, "Nothing is due until December 4th anyway". Well, it finally clicked. December 4th is only a couple short weeks away. Uh, can we say... "*$&^!!!" Ok, part of this is my own slacker problem as I waited until the last two weeks to even bother looking at my OTHER two online classes, that require a bit more work that I had originally thought. Not hard but... time consuming.
